4-man broadcast crew to call action
The Williamsport Crosscutters and Talk WilliamsportRadio Williamsport have jointly announced an extension of their partnership agreement for the 2013 season.
The agreement continues the association that began in 2008 and assures that all Crosscutters games, both home and away, will continue to be heard on Talk Williamsport frequencies 1050AM & 104.1FM. All broadcasts are also available online at www.crosscutters.com. New for 2013 all games will also be heard in Jersey Shore on WJSA-1600 AM
“The Cutters are pleased to be able to extend our agreement with Talk Williamsport. We are proud to be a large part of their commitment to local sports on the professional, college and high school level”, stated Cutters VP of Marketing & PR Gabe Sinicropi. “It’s very important for us to have all of our games broadcast not only locally but to fans across the country and around the world who annually follow prospects on our team.”
Todd (“Voice”) Bartley, General Manager of Talk WilliamsportRadio Williamsport, will continue his role as the lead play-by-play voice of the team. He will be joined in the broadcast booth by Ian Catherine, Matt Nelson and Jonathan Schwab.
“With our large broadcast crew we plan on bringing unprecedented coverage of the Cutters this year including live tweets and Facebook posts updating game action and other interesting tidbits around the ballpark,” said Bartley. “We’ll have a good time on the broadcasts and we hope that resonates with the fans.”
Opening Night 2013, presented by Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania & KISS 102-7 takes place on Tuesday, June 18 and will feature a schedule magnet giveaway for the first 2,500 in attendance, a chance for fans to trade in old Williamsport Outlaws gear for a new Cutters t-shirt and other opening night festivities.
