DEVELOPING STORY: Guy Rancourt To Leave Lycoming For Western Connecticut

In a story first reported by, Lycoming College head Men’s Basketball coach Guy Rancourt is reportedly resigning his position with the Warriors to become the new head coach at Western Connecticut.

Rancourt, a 1997 graduate of Western Connecticut, has been the head coach of the Warriors for the last ten seasons, posting a 176-89 record, appearing in six MAC-Commonwealth Championship Games, winning two MAC-Commonwealth titles, and reaching the the NCAA Division III tournament three times.

Todd Bartley, General Manager of FOX Sports Williamsport, has reached out to the Lycoming College Athletics Dept and to Guy Rancourt for comment, but has yet to receive any response.

According to, an official announcement on the move by Western Connecticut is expected to be released tomorrow, with Lycoming College likely releasing details around the same time.
