Matos Named UPMC Susquehanna Crosscutters Player Of The Week

Cutters outfielder Malvin Matos has been named the UPMC Susquehanna Player of the Week for the week of August 7 – August 13.

For the week, Matos hit .357 and had an on-base percentage of .458.

Matos, from Caja Seca, Venezuela, was signed as a free agent by the Phillies in 2015

The award will be presented prior to the Williamsport Crosscutters game on August 22.
